Paisa Verse is designed to help people understand and manage their expenses. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling personal data responsibly. This policy describes what information the service may collect, why we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
In the current demo, you may enter expense titles, amounts, categories, dates, and a monthly budget. This information is stored locally in your browser, not transmitted to Paisa Verse servers.
If a future account-based service is launched, it may collect account information (such as name and email), expenses and budgeting data you choose to submit, and limited security/technical data needed to operate the service.
If you choose to allow SMS access, Paisa Verse reads transaction-related messages on your device (such as bank debit/credit alerts and payment confirmations) to automatically detect and record your expenses. We use these messages only to identify details like the amount, date, merchant and category, and only for providing expense tracking to you.
How we use information
Information entered in the demo is used only to calculate totals, remaining budgets, category summaries, and transaction history on your device. Future account services would use personal information solely to provide account access, expense management, essential support and service security.
No selling or sharing of personal data
We do not sell, rent, or share your expense or account data with advertisers, marketers, or other businesses for their independent use.
The current demo sends no expense records to third parties. If hosting, email delivery, or infrastructure providers are introduced for account services, they may process strictly necessary information on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations; this is not a sale of data. Legal disclosure, if required by law, would be handled only to the extent necessary.
Storage and security
Demo expenses and the budget are kept in the local storage of the browser and device you use. Anyone with access to that browser profile may be able to view them. Do not enter sensitive banking credentials, card numbers, passwords, or other financial secrets.
Browser storage is not a secure cloud backup. You can delete it using “Reset demo” or your browser settings. A future production account service would require separate security, access-control, backup and retention mechanisms.
Retention and deletion
Browser demo data remains on the device until you reset the demo or clear the browser storage. Where account deletion is made available, deletion/deactivation requests will be processed within 30 days subject to applicable legal retention obligations, as explained in our Delete Account page.
Your privacy choices
You can update or remove demo entries, change your monthly budget, or reset all browser demo data at any time. For future hosted account data, contact the support team using the details on our Contact page to request access, correction, or deletion as applicable.
Children and external links
Paisa Verse is not intentionally directed at children under 18. Our website may link to external services; their privacy practices are separate from ours.
